We’ve all been through purchasing a plethora of mechanical, and electronic devices, hoping to discover that one toy that just seems like is was custom designed for our specific needs, but one musical artist is showing the world that all you really need is just a couple of bags of… marshmallows!?
I must say, after I watched Demise Keverlasting’s new music video, where an unsatisfied wife decides to take matters into her own “hands“, after dealing with an “unfulfiilling” marriage, due to her husband’s “particular” addiction, I thought about what it would be like to recreate that, now infamous, marshmallow scene. Then I found out that Andre Hines, the director of the film, spent over $3000 on bags of marshmallows, just to get the scene right. $3000 spent on “pleasure” probably seems like overkill, but when your boyfriend is addicted to a certain type of extra-curricular activity, and you haven’t had “fun” in a very long while, one might deem it necessary. The REAL PROBLEM with marshmallows is that its a one time use. The director talks about how after a single use, the marshmallows were rendered sticky and useless for any repeat action, and thus explains why he had to purchase enough bags to last a full weekend of shooting. “We spent more on marshmallows than my camera was worth,” says the director. Anyways, here’s the magical music video, in all its glory, and fair warning, this music video is NSFW… Which explains why we had to format the wording in this article with an inordinate amount of “quotes” and subtle references.
